About Us

Sterling Family Partners is a Dallas-based family office formed in 2013

The roots of the organization go back more than 70 years, beginning with Bolin Oil Company in 1951 and evolving over the following decades to span operations and investments in various industries, including but not limited to energy, real estate, banking, healthcare, and consumer services. Today, the team continues to refine a committee approach that emphasizes sound judgment, efficient diligence, and alignment with our partners.

The values behind the business extend beyond investing. For generations, the family has maintained a meaningful commitment to philanthropy, with a particular focus on the Dallas–Fort Worth area. We support organizations and initiatives connected to housing and neighborhood assistance, children and youth development, religious activities, nature conservation, and higher education.
